news.Thoro Packaging, a manufacturer of printed folding carton packaging for the medical device, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, has installed Apollo TSKM sheeter from MarquipWardUnited, at its Corona, California, facility. TSKM sheeter is equipped with a D1 Splicer for cut quality and speed.

MarquipWardUnited said that the new Apollo TSKM would help Thoro Packaging save outsourcing costs from heavier caliper sheets and reduce waste with the help of improved triple station decurling system featured on the machine.
Thoro Packaging said that it had purchased Apollo TSKM sheeter equipped with a D1 Splicer for its cut quality and speed. The D1 low-speed splicer will eliminate roll change time for a fraction of the cost of a high-speed splicer. The Apollo TSKM is also compact and fit easily within the space assigned by Thoro.
Brandon Roberts, production manager at Thoro Packaging, said: “We are doing great and are extremely happy with the TSKM’s production.” Roberts was very complimentary of the post-install service and is excited to show off the machine to other prospective MarquipWardUnited customers.”
