news.SCI is planning to open a new tablet and capsule packaging facility as well as the high potency compounding and filling area for oral liquids utilising barrier isolator systems.

SCI president Frederick Sancilio said that the expansion of SCI continues with the addition of these two new facilities and the commissioning of the new laboratory in early 2012.
"Further expansion is planned for Q1:2012 including the addition of a second soft gelatin manufacturing area, additional compressing rooms and tablet coating facilities, Sancilio said.
"We plan to further expand our operation in Palm Beach County, Florida, and drive our business through our made in American focus."
Additionally, the company has also named Jeffrey Tuller as the new executive vice president of Sales and a member of the executive management team.
