news.Premier Purchasing Partners, the healthcare group purchasing unit of Premier has provided a three-year, multi-source agreement to Safecor Health for pharmaceutical repackaging services. The new contract was effective December 1, 2009.

As per terms of the agreement, Safecor Health is expected to provide Premier members a flexible and comprehensive menu of unit-dose and bar-coded repackaging services geared toward each client’s packaging needs and medication safety initiatives.
The company said that Healthcare providers will be able to customise packaging formats, dose sizes, and develop custom label and bar-code requirements for oral solids, liquid cups, oral syringes for adults and pediatrics, powders, and other packaging formats with pharmacy automation requirements.
