CryoPort Names Vice President Of Global Business Development

CryoPort, a California-based manufacturer and distributor of temperature-sensitive, frozen packaging containers for the shipping of biological items, has appointed Chris Campbell to the role of vice president of global business development.

Mr Campbell has more than 20 years of executive-level sales, marketing and business development experience in the healthcare and technology industries.

Mr Campbell was principal at the consulting firm Client & Campbell, where he assisted technical products companies with market and competitive analysis, customer support, organizational development, and marketing strategy.

Previously, as vice president of sales and marketing for MACO Bag, he successfully positioned the supplier of advanced packaging solutions to enter the North American market. In a similar position with Static Control Components, a provider of advanced packaging and production equipment, he directed the international sales and marketing efforts to pharmaceutical, medical device and electronics manufacturers.

Larry Stambaugh, CEO of CryoPort, said: “Chris has been working with CryoPort on a consulting basis, making important contributions to our recent progress. We are pleased he is joining us in a full-time capacity as he brings a deep knowledge of our domestic and international target markets and a clear understanding of the CryoPort Express value proposition.”

CryoPort develops products that are essential components of the infrastructure required for the testing, research and end user delivery of temperature-sensitive medicines and biomaterials in a complex logistical environment.
