Cellon introduces sterile single-use containers for biological solutions

Cellon, a provider of products and services to the vaccine production and bioprocessing industries, has introduced PharmaTainer sterile single-use containers for storage, freezing, and manipulation of biological solutions.

The products include low particulate carboys and bottles, manufactured from resins approved for medical applications, to store and transport biopharmaceuticals, culture media, bulk vaccines and other biotech materials.

The new packaging features three inner layers of poly wrapping to ease delivery into clean room areas.

The inner most layer provides tamper evidence and assurance of an intact sterility barrier as it is vacuum-sealed.

Each PharmaTainer product contain serial number, batch number, expiration date and a machine-readable data matrix, which can be integrated with the user’s inventory management system.
