news.Bosch Packaging Technology has finalized the acquisition of the machinery business companies of Eisai.

As per the transaction, entire share and equity interest of Eisai Machinery is transferred to the Bosch Group.
Eisai’s machinery business is specialized in the manufacture, sales and export of inspection equipment as well as pharmaceutical machinery and packaging materials.
Eisai Machinery consists of four subsidiaries Eisai Machinery (Japan), Eisai Machinery USA (North America), Eisai Machinery (Germany) and Eisai Machinery Shanghai (China), all of which will be integrated into the worldwide Bosch network.
Bosch president Friedbert Klefenz said: "Adding these competencies to our portfolio further enhances our position as full-range provider to the pharmaceutical industry."
Bosch Packaging Technology Japan president Joachim Baczewski added: "The combined product portfolio, know-how and experience of Bosch Packaging Technology and Eisai Machinery will form a solid basis for the provision of a comprehensive range of innovative solutions to our customers."
