news.Almac Pharma Services has completed a client sponsored capital investment of GBP2m at its commercial facilities at the group’s headquarters located in Craigavon, Northern Ireland.

Almac Pharma Services said that the new facility includes dispensing and blending suites to accommodate 2.5 tonne batches, coupled to a sachet filling and packaging line. The new facility will be completed with supporting storage and wash areas.
The annual output is expected to be in excess of 120m sachets, split across various packed formats.
Geoff Sloan, VP of manufacturing operations at Almac Pharma Services, said: “This investment has allowed our client to quickly meet growing demand for one of their future products.
“Utilising Almac’s technical and project management expertise to deliver an engineering solution is expected to assist our client in securing the market for this product.”
